Assignment: Compose thoughtful answers to the following five questions. Before you begin your composition, it is recommended that you do some further reading/research.
- What is time? (Define time as you understand it. Be specific!)
- Is time absolute or relative? (Your answer should show that you understand the absolute theory of time, and the relative theory of time, BEFORE you make a case for either one.)
- Is time an illusion or a non-illusion? (You need to define illusion first, and describe the attributes of illusions vs. non-illusions BEFORE you make a case that time is either one.)
- What is the relationship between memory and time? (If we did not have memory, would we have any ‘sensation’ of time, or reason to believe that time exists?)
- Is time travel possible? (You must define what it means to ‘travel through time’ before you make a case of whether it is possible or not.)
