I'm curious if members would like to spend Period 9 (and the following hour after school) watching V for Vendetta next Thursday... it contains many interesting perspectives on the topics of power, authority, government, and freedom. If we're lucky, we might be able to arrange more than a TV... perhaps a projector/wide screen... ooo wide screen...
Let me know what you think... Another option would be to watch the first 20-30min, discuss that portion for the remainder of the period, and then continue that cycle for the next couple meetings until we complete the movie and have a chance to adequately address most of its main themes. Now that I mention it, I think I prefer this latter choice. Is there any interest/preference?

id say itd be more enjoyable to watch it completely and then talk about it cause then its fresher in our minds. i do like the idea to watch the movie tho.

Good idea, but I like the whole thing at once method better.
You should read the comics, too.
