I take back what I said before, about humans progressing. I don't think that we have much at all, over many years. I'm certain that many individuals show higher levels of thinking, but that can't be considered human society as a whole.
Like evolution, isolated incidents of mutations do not count as such. And evolution theoretically takes millions if not billions of years; maybe human though will have to progress along those same lines.
But maybe with a little education and a little time...
