A Few New Idea's

I've noticed lately that none of the new posts have really had any comments, and I think that's showing something about todays society. We start something new, all excited and ready to go, but as time goes on that excitement dwindles and people start making less and less of an effort. As we can see, we started off the blog posting comments upon comments and now for the last three posts there are no comments what so ever. You see this in everyday life as well, for example, why does a store go out of bussiness? Most of the time it's because they're not as good as they once were and they started to go downhill.

Another thought I had came to me when i was listening to Pink Flyod, Another Brick In The Wall. Thru-out life there are social clicks, especially in school. So many people think they are better than everyone else just because they may have more friends or can afford more exspensive things. But like in Pink Flyod's song, " All in all we're just another brick in the wall." He's saying that no matter how popular you are in school or how rich you are, we are all going to end up in the same place at some point so it shouldn't matter.

Please comment,

Alex

Pink floyd has changed my life from time to time.

If you're going to listen to the Wall, you need to listen to it all the way through. Alone, in the dark. I listened to it for the first time in a while the other day, just as great as always. Though I had to skip that part, because it's become a little to cliched to take as seriously as the rest of.

AS for comments, I love intarwebbing as much as the next guy, but I don't think that every neat little thought I have is really worth sharing. If I don't have a coherent thought to start or add to a discussion (like this one), I'll keep it to myself.

Effort takes effort, and every aspect of life has improving to do. If you work on everything, or especially hard at any one thing and don't see any improvements, or you don't find any kind of encouragement to keep you going, it's very easy to become discouraged and give up.

Conviction and honesty are deserving of the utmost respect. I don't have either. will I work on it? maybe.

Well I'm not sure what you meant when u said, "If I don't have a coherent thought to start or add to a discussion (like this one), I'll keep it to myself." Were you talking about my post or what you had wrote? But anyways, im not saying that just because you have an idea you need to post it but all in all isn't that what Philosophy Club is for? To bring up things that normally wouldnt be brought up?

I meant my comment, fear not.

Have you listened to the wall all the way through, seen the movie?

If you have, try this on

yeah, I've read the whole thing, and even more, someone actually wrote it. This ultra deep rock opera stuff just makes my heart squeal with joy.
